The 2nd part of the Sony VAIO P review
Hi all, please find below the long due video review Sony VAIO P. I did this almost a month ago but just finally get the chance to edit and upload it to my YouTube account. Hopefully this review gives you another angle of opinion on the unit.
Here is a link to the “review” by Adrian @ Gizmodo. He also has the same experience as me in term of video performance.
I finally had the chance to stop by my local SonyStyle store today @ Beverly Hills Center and play with the demo model of Sony VAIO P. The one that is in demo is the middle configuration which equipped with 64G SSD and 2G of RAM. As I expected, the screen is gorgeous. Nothing to expect less from Sony. The 1600 x 768 pixel is so crisp and clear that I don’t have any problem doing anything on that small screen. I quickly open up a notepad and start typing to see how practical to have that device sitting on the table and with the appropriate distance start typing on it. Remember that this device is pretty wide (long) so thumb typing is completely impractical with Sony P. Therefore, you have to either put it on the table or on your lap and there will be a significant further distance between the device and your eyes (typically you want the device to be closer to you when the screen is that small). I can definitely see people find it difficult to use the device without squinting their eyes a bit
