Now for 2 weeks, I've been using the Blackberry with full BIS service. I have to say that I am really happy to see the 2 applications that was not working before without BIS (facebook and Yahoo Messenger) works really well! That is really the main strength of a Blackberry device, a strong messaging device. The instant notification of incoming message from various place into one bucket (Yahoo, email, SMS, facebook message) is simply awesome. Typing the message with a real keyboard is priceless too. Hints to Blackberry, stay focus on your core strength and improve it!

If you remember my previous blog, I reported that I was having problem registering my Black Berry Bold to BIS (Blackberry Internet Service) due to PIN suspend. Over so many attempts working with the BB support, the final result was they won't be able to activate my BB Bold. I am stuck with BB Bold that can't be used with BIS. Then I move on and start using Nokia E71 instead. I am happy with it and have been using it since then.

Yesterday, my curiosity started again. I put back my AT&T SIM to my bold and start playing around to find out what exactly I can do with this Blackberry without the proper plan. So I started by digging around the web, google here, google there and start putting the pieces together. Here's what I did.

So one weekend, a friend of friend was visiting US and in need of iPhone. There I offered him to buy my phone at very reasonable price and give him all the instruction he needed to unlock the phone. That was my last day with my iPhone 3G.

I have used iPhone since generation one (if you follow my blog) and then I were able to sell it high on eBay and upgrade myself to 3G. It has been a great experience using iPhone (despite of all the shortcomings). I manage to get my life around all the wonderful iPhone apps that I become relying myself to. From the day-to-day apps such as Facebook, Pandora, Imeem, Tweetie, WordPress, Amazon Kindle Google Maps, and WordPress to all the fun games such as Crash Bandicoot and Monopoly, it is almost difficult to transition to other phone.
