Sony VAIO X is official at SonyStyle starting $1299
The final specification is out for Sony VAIO X at SonyStyle USA. Starting at $1299, you can get a Atom 2.0Ghz processor with 2GB RAM, 64GB Solid State Drive, GPS, Verizon Broadband built-in and standard battery. For $200 more, you will get 128GB SSD and additional extended battery included (this is definitely a better buy).

I am not too keen to see that they decide to use Atom processor on the unit. My current Sony TZ is still a much better unit overall. Of course the light weight (1.6 lb) of the unit is very attractive to a lot of you who travel a lot. But with limited hard drive size and weak processor, I will probably choose Sony VAIO P over VAIO X as the unit can only become a companion unit anyway. But that is my personal preference.
Overall I am just happy to see that Sony back to the innovation game and comes out with an elegant laptop that worth the buzz
Let me know what you think about it.

I have always wanted to buy a VAIO P, but I still cannot manage to spare some money for it.
